Nepal has collected six gold medals in the 7th Tirak International Taekwando champaionship held in Bankok, Thailand. Nepal has won a total of 21 medals including six gold medals.

Nepal has collected three gold medals each in fight and pumse category. According to the team coach Roshan Khan, in the fight category, Ajit Gupta Teli, Rekha Maya Gurung and Parbati Gurung won gold while Narmaya Gurung, Jasmin Gurung and Sandhya Thapa won the coveted gold medal in the pumse category.

Nepal also won six silver and nine bronze medals in this champaionship. Althletes from South Korea, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, Pakistan, Malaysia are particitated in the championship. The event held at the Assumption University Sports center in Bankok on october 21.
