Kathmandu, June 6: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has been chosen the 40th Prime Minister of Nepal for the fourth time.
The solitary contender for the Prime minister Mr. Deuba was choosen with 388 votes. And 170 MPs voted against him. Among the 593 MPs in the parliament, 558 MPs took part in voting. Officeholder Prime Minister and CPN (MC) Chair Puspa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" has tabled a proposition looking for the decision of NC President Deuba as the Prime Minister. Deuba got the votes from the CPN (MC) and NC in addition from RPP, RJP, Nepal Democratic Forum, Federal Socialist Forum, Socialist Janata Dal, Akhanda Nepal Party and CPN (joined together). Those voting against Deuba were CPN-UML, CPM-ML, Rastriya Janamorcha, and Pariwar Dal.
Speaker Onsari Gharti announced the result of the voting held through division of votes, which at that point drove MPs throng Deuba to laurel and praise him.

Also, China has congratulated Nepali Congress President and Parliamentary Party Leader Sher Bahadur Deuba on his race to the post of Prime Minister. Chinese Ambassador Yu Hong reached at at Budhanilakantha on Tuesday evening and congratulated him on behave of china. At that time NC President Deuba for the benefit of the Chinese Government, educated PM Deuba's associate, Bhanu Deuba. On the event, Ambassador Hong communicated certainty that the relations amongst Nepal and China would be reinforced.
